As was stated in the Icelandic media recently, Skaftfell Center for Visual Art has been in financial difficulties this year, and this has led to great uncertainty about the continuation of its operations. Following a good conversation between Skaftfell and the Minister of Education and Culture this autumn, the ministry agreed to grant emergency funding to Skaftfell.
