At the Bookshop – projectspace Newly arrived artists in residence at Skaftfell; Munan Ovrelid (NO) and Melissa Pokorny (US) will give an introduction to their work and practice. Munan will be staying at Skaftfell for 3 months May-July and Melissa for the month of May. Special guest Randi Nyygard (NO)
The outdoor sculpture ÂA movable feast by Andreas Jari Juhani Toriseva is a part of the exhibition Veldi, that is currently running in Skaftfell. The work is a car that has been transformed into a sauna and is parked outside of Austurvegur 42. The Sauna-car is fully functional and everybody is welcome to use it. Guest enter at their own risk and have to bring their own wood. In the car you can read a manner of conduct and guests are asked to respect the agreement. Enjoy.
