Sunday July 6 at 15.00 a singing event will be held in the sound sculpture Tvísöngur by artists Lukas Kühne. The Tvísöngur sculpture is located in the mountainside just above Seyðisfjörður town and this is the third time the event has been held. The sculpture was open to the public in September 2012. The event is a part of the Summer exhibition RÓ RÓ. For more information about Tvísöngur here.
Welcome on Sunday to events that are a part of RÓ RÓ, the Skaftfell summer exhibition. The program begins in the Harbour community garden and then relocates to Skaftfell’s backyard. Program starts at 15.00 Artists Gunnhildur Hauksdóttir re-performs “Census” in the Harbour community garden. The work, that now contains approx. 500 names, has been revised since it was previously performed at the opening of RÓ RÓ June 17.
