Friday July 26, at 17.00, the Bookshop-projectspace Ragnheiður Gestsdóttir and Curver Thoroddsen have stayed as Artists-in-Residence at Skaftfell for July. The exhibition is a collaboration between the artists and will portray the experiments and artworks, created during the stay, reflecting the multi dimensional universe and monotonous day to day life. The exhibition will be open over the weekend, July 27 -28, from 14.00  17.00

The artist group RoShamBo, in good collaboration with Skaftfell – Center for Visual Art has now published a web based map which contains information on workshops, residencies, galleries, project platforms, schools and interesting phenomena in Seyðisfjörður. The map is intended to serve people working in the creative industries; artists, designers, craftspeople and others who wish to work in Seyðisfjörður, execute projects, produce works or work on research and development.
