Call for Applications: Goethe-Institut residency grant 2017 at Skaftfell

Application deadline: 20th September 2016 In partnership with the Goethe-Institut Dänemark, Skaftfell is able to offer a grant for one artist for a 2-month residency in 2017. The Goethe-Institut residency grant includes Travel costs up to 650 EUR for international and domestic travel to Seyðisfjörður. Collectable after booking. Monthly allowance of 1000 EUR per month. Fully covered residency fee. Production costs up to 350 EUR. Eligibility German artists, and international artists who are permanently based in Germany with a strong and continuous involvement in the German art scene, are eligible to apply. Printing matter – Thematic Residency

Period: Feb 2-15, 2017. Deadline: September 1, 2016. Printing matter is a two-week thematic residency with an intensive program for 8-10 artists, focusing on printmaking and artist book making. The Thematic Residency aims to create a platform for exchange, discussion, and collaboration amongst fellow artists from various disciplines, who share a professional interest in the topic, both on a practical and a conceptual level, and who wish to deepen their knowledge and expertise.
