In this exhibition are paintings, drawings and photographs which Kristj\u00e1n has done recently. Their subject matter is in one sense or another locations, where earth matter is used to create reflections about the presence\/absence of the spectator.<\/p>\n
Kristj\u00e1n Steingr\u00ed\u00admur\u00a0was born in Akureyri in 1957. After studying at the Icelandic Collage of Art and Crafts he went to the Art Academy in Hamburg, Germany where he graduated in 1987. He has since lived and worked in Reykjavik, participating in numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums, both in Iceland and abroad.
