Their work explores human\u00a0relations to landscape through photography, and studies the medium of photography itself and its desire to document. In their current collaborative\u00a0project about forestry in Iceland they are developing a visual study of a\u00a0minimalistic\u00a0landscape getting filled with trees.<\/p>\n<p>In the open studio Pavel and Eliso will show works in progress, as well as a variety of analogue photographic techniques and devices, including stereo cameras, stereoscopes, a pop-up darkroom, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the month the artists will invite students from Sey\u00f0isfjar\u00f0arsk\u00f3li for a visit and short workshop on stereo photography.<\/p>\n<h3>Bio\u00b4s<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/elisotsintsabadze.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eliso Tsintsabadze<\/a><\/strong> was born in Moscow, USSR. She played chess professionally, but quit to start studying film at VGIK (the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov). After her studies she worked on different short movies, documentaries, feature films and animations as a line producer and production crew member and was moving a lot between Russia and Georgia. In 2015, she moved to New York to study photography at the International Center of Photography.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pavelfilkov.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Pavel Filkov<\/strong> <\/a>is a visual and multimedia artist, photographer and cinematographer. He was born in Ulan Bator, Mongolia. He studied cinematography at VGIK\u00a0(the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov) in Moscow, Russia. In the last several years he worked as a cinematographer in video-art with different artists.
