On Saturday, September 22, the yield from Printing Matter, a thematic residency organized by Skaftfell in collaboration with the Technical Museum of East Iceland<\/a>, will be on public display.<\/p>\n

This is the third edition of the Printing Matter residency. Seven artists from around the world have been participating in the three-week residency, starting\u00a0at the beginning of September.<\/p>\n

The group’s working process has been emphasizing artist bookmaking and different printing methods as well as creating a platform for knowledge exchange, dialogue and collaboration between participants. Instructors are\u00a0\u00c5se Eg J\u00f8rgensen<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Litten Nystr\u00f8m<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the last few weeks, the group has enjoyed the fjord’s beautiful autumn colors, going on\u00a0a lot of hikes between making prints and\u00a0artist books.<\/p>\n

The exhibition takes place at the Technical Museum in Sey\u00f0isfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur from\u00a016.00 to 18.00. Everyone is welcome, and kids can experiment with simple printing methods.<\/p>\n
