Inspired by Homer\u2019s poem and the captivating archetype of its hero \u2013 Odysseus as &#8220;the man of many turns&#8221; \u2013 the project shares a generic theme with the Odyssee and its fascination with islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the talk, the wandering figure of Odysseus will guide through a suggestive discourse of myth. \u2018Odysseus Atlas\u2019 will narrate through the intricacies of the artists\u2019 personal voyages while discovering the allure of islands. This is an open ended talk, playing with the perception of epos, and an invitation to understand its content as infinitely expanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Light refreshments will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"J\u016bra Bardauskait\u0117 (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.odysseusatlas.com\" target=\"_blank\">J\u016bra Bardauskait\u0117<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"K\u0119stutis Montvidas (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.odysseusatlas.com\" target=\"_blank\">K\u0119stutis Montvidas<\/a><\/strong> are artists from Lithuania, who are currently on an open-ended journey between residency programs that are situated on islands. They have been in residency at Skaftfell during January and February.
