Pist Protta<\/em>\u00a0since 1981.\u00a0She works with printed matter, and is very fond of paper, colours and books.\u00a0\u00c5se has been coming to Sey\u00f0isfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur since 2013, as artist in residence, and more recently to lead Skaftfell’s thematic residency “Printing Matter”.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u00c5se’s publications include the ongoing artist’s book series\u00a0Kompendium 1-38<\/em>\u00a0(2010-2019), a selection of which is forming her current exhibition in the West Wall Gallery.\u00a0The series are printed on a mono-laserwriter in A4 format, folded to A5, and sewn by hand. They exist initially in editions of 40 copies.
